Why Sign the Declaration?

In the past few years there have been attempts to legalize assisted suicide in many state legislatures. Every year there has been several states chosen by assisted suicide lobby for assisted suicide initiatives.

A voter initiative in Massachusetts during November 2012 election, if passed would have legalized assisted suicide. Massachusetts voters defeated the assisted suicide initiative “Question 2” in a very close vote.

In 2014, there were attempts to legalize assisted suicide in several states including: New Hampshire, Connecticut, New Jersey and Massachusetts.

The New Hampshire house defeated Bill HB 1325 by a vote of 219 to 66.

We need to continue the moment and strengthen our ability to maintain protections in law from assisted suicide

Support protections in law from assisted suicide for every American citizen by signing the Declaration of Hope.
